Hugo Heredia Barrera is a skilled craftsman and artist who established himself as an expert in metal fabrication, welding, glass services and mixed media projects for architectural, residential and commercial applications.
Hugo owns HB Punto Experimental Gallery & Studio LLC, which has served as his art studio for the last 12 years (Hugo is a contemporary art artist). In 2018, Hugo started using art concepts to incorporate them into residential and commercial projects and HB Punto Experimental began functioning as a metal fabrication, architectural and glass service business.
Hugo take great pride in his work, and his attention to detail is evident in every project he undertakes. He is committed to use the finest material available and employs the latest techniques to ensure that his clients receive the highest quality workmanship.
With his experience in metal fabrication, welding and glass services, Hugo has earned a reputation as a skilled and reliable craftsman. He is dedicated to providing his clients with exceptional services and works closely with them to ensure that their vision is realized in every project he undertakes.
His work includes a huge breath of concepts and items, ranging from the most practical tables, metal gates and doors, metal rails to glass and metal bars for restaurants and private clients.
Hugo comes from a lifetime of artistic creation. From the young age of six, when his father first taught him how to weld in the family workshop in Querendaro, Mexico, Hugo has worked to master the techniques of his craft and has spent many years working with glass techniques, including recycled, stained, fused, casted, polished and hot manipulated glass. He studied Civil engineering in Michoacan, Mexico, and Architectural and Mechanical Engineering in San Diego, CA. He has worked as an independent contractor in both Mexico and the US, creating architectural adornments and projects for residences in Mexico and Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, La Jolla, Point Loma, CA, etc.
